The capital of Ghana in West Africa, Accra stretches along the Atlantic Coast. It is a hub for tourism and culture in the area. British colonial buildings mix in the city with modern skyscrapers and apartment blocks. The city has a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, museums, monuments and nightclubs.
Taxis abound in the city, and are often operated with deals between driver and passenger rather than metre systems. Trotros (repurposed vehicles) and buses are also used to get around.
